Kich is operated by Alamo Consulting Group. This policy describes how we handle your information.
When you use Kich, we collect basic account information needed to create and access your account, such as your email address, display name, or information provided through third-party sign-in providers such as Google or Apple.
The app also allows you to upload and save content, including text and images such as photos of recipes. Uploaded images may be processed using automated systems to extract text and improve app functionality.
This information is used solely to provide and improve your in-app experience.
If you enable push notifications, we collect a device token to deliver them. This token is stored securely with your account data and removed if you disable notifications.
On iOS devices, we may request permission to track activity across other apps and websites using Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. This is used solely to improve app functionality and is never used for advertising or to share data with third parties. You can change this permission at any time in your device Settings.
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Kich app. This includes providing core features such as recipe storage, organization, sharing, and automated text extraction from uploaded images. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or content. Your data is used exclusively to provide and operate the features within Kich and is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.
We do not use user-submitted content to train generalized artificial intelligence models.
Kich uses trusted third-party service providers to host, store, secure, and process data necessary to operate the app, including AI-powered content processing. These providers only receive the minimum information required to perform their services and are obligated to handle data securely and confidentially. Third-party providers process data only to perform app functionality and do not use it for their own purposes.
If you subscribe to Kich Pro, payments are processed by third-party providers. Kich does not collect, store, or have access to your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. For information on how your payment data is handled, please refer to your provider's privacy policy.
User content, including uploaded images and saved recipes, is stored as part of your account and remains available until you delete it or delete your account. You may remove individual content items or permanently delete your account at any time within the app.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information using industry-standard practices. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we are committed to safeguarding your data.
Kich is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
You may delete individual recipes, photos, and other content at any time within the app. You may also request permanent deletion of your entire account and all associated data through the app settings.
When you request account deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your data is retained but your account is deactivated. If you change your mind, simply log back in within 30 days to cancel the deletion and restore your account. After 30 days, all account data is permanently removed. Certain limited backup copies may persist temporarily for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.
Alternatively, you may email support@kich.app to request account and data deletion. Deletion requests submitted via email are processed within a reasonable time and follow the same 30-day grace period.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app. Continued use of Kich after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
