How to delete your data from Kich

Delete Your Account In-App

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the Kich app:

Step 1

Open the Kich app and tap the settings icon (gear) in the top right corner.

Step 2

Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and tap "Delete Account."

Step 3

Confirm the deletion by typing DELETE when prompted. Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion.

30-Day Grace Period

After you confirm deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your data is retained but your account is not accessible. If you change your mind, simply log back in within 30 days — your account and all data will be fully restored.

After 30 days, all account data — including recipes, photos, notes, and shared cookbook memberships — is permanently removed. Certain limited backup copies may persist temporarily for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.

Delete Via Email

Alternatively, you may request account and data deletion by emailing support@kich.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your Kich account. Deletion requests submitted via email are processed within a reasonable time and follow the same 30-day grace period.

What Gets Deleted

After the grace period, the following are permanently removed: your profile information, saved recipes, uploaded photos, notes, shared cookbook memberships, and any other content associated with your account.
